About Me

My photo
Tom Skipper
I started buying records in the mid 60s. One thing led to another, and after 55 years or so, I find that I have more than 10,000 albums in my collection. Even though online sites such as Ebay and Discogs make it relatively easy to find just about any LP ever made, that's not much of a challenge. The real fun is visiting used record stores and thrift shops and going to estate sales to hunt through dusty boxes of albums looking for a rare first pressing or a classic record in mint condition. I created this blog mostly for my own amusement, but hope that other vinyl junkies out there might be interested in my adventures in LP treasure hunting. Enjoy the music!
